THE A4 PERSPECTIVE
Art raised on manga,
anime and the street.
For many artists across Asia, the first drawings they ever copied came from manga panels, game screens and anime. Today that visual language — bold lines, cinematic framing, characters with lives of their own — has grown into one of the most distinctive currents in contemporary art.
A4 Gallery is a Tokyo-based gallery devoted to exactly this lineage. We bring together more than 150 artists from Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and beyond, whose work carries the DNA of Japanese pop culture into painting, sculpture and live drawing — shown in Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and London, and as an official art project of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
