Iwamoto-ji Temple Lodging Art Room

Iwamoto-ji, Temple No. 37 of the Shikoku 88-Temple Pilgrimage · Shimanto, Kochi / Japan

Artist YANOYA transformed a guest room at Iwamoto-ji, Temple No. 37 of the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage, into an art room based on the temple's Seven Wonders legends. A canvas work inspired by the legend of the thrice-bearing chestnut was dedicated in a ceremony and is displayed in the main hall.
