Atsushi Maeda

Born in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture. Influenced by bande dessinée as a student, he began drawing finely detailed comics, then worked as a character designer and graphic designer at a game company before launching his art practice in 2022.
His distinctive style fuses street culture with a contemporary hard-boiled sensibility, evoking stories that are at once cool and comic, and has drawn growing attention.

ABOUT THE WORKAbout the work
