「強い女性」をテーマに女性の肖像と、強さ・進化の象徴である恐竜を描く。男女対等をコンセプトに女性性の価値をサイバーパンクの世界観で表現。荒廃した未来であるサイバーパンクの世界では女性が強く生きる様が描かれていて、その在り方は私がテーマとする女性像そのものである。これは私達の生活がデジタル化していく未来と重ねていて、今までの価値観が変化する昨今の状況において人々もアップデートが求められる事を示唆している。また進化の象徴である恐竜の作品も制作していて、未来的な女性と対比的なスタンスで太古の強者を描く。時代の転換期の今、理論・合理的な仕事をAIが担うことで、感性が価値を持つこれからの世界では女性性が求められる。女性が活躍するために進化の叡智を恐竜から授かる——そんな温故知新のイメージで、女性と恐竜のシリーズを描いている。

Shusei Mochizuki paints portraits of women on the theme of "strong women," alongside dinosaurs as symbols of strength and evolution. With gender equality as a concept, the work expresses the value of femininity through a cyberpunk worldview — a dystopian future in which women live with strength, embodying the very image the artist seeks. This parallels our increasingly digital lives, suggesting that people too must update themselves as values shift. In contrast to these futuristic women, the dinosaur works depict the mighty beings of ancient times. In this turning point of history, as AI takes on logical and rational tasks, sensibility — and femininity — will be valued; the artist imagines women receiving the wisdom of evolution from dinosaurs, in the spirit of learning from the old to create the new.
