ももえ

アニメキャラクターのイラストをモチーフに、アナログな手法で描く画家。平面的な少女像と、毛糸や木材、コードといった物質を組み合わせた作品は、強い視覚的インパクトと驚きを生み、現代美術への入口となる明快さを備えている。
2022年、GEISAI #22にてMr.賞を受賞し、Mr.主宰のギャラリーで個展を開催。2023年以降、台北・ロンドン・東京・バンコクで作品を発表している。

Momoe paints with an analog approach, taking anime character illustration as her motif. Combining flat depictions of girls with physical materials such as yarn, wood and cable, her works deliver a strong visual impact and a sense of surprise, offering an accessible point of entry into contemporary art.
In 2022 she received the Mr. Prize at GEISAI #22 and subsequently held a solo exhibition at a gallery run by Mr. Since 2023 she has exhibited in Taipei, London, Tokyo and Bangkok.
