Malee Naree
花と女性、仏教哲学と自然
チェンマイ出身の女性アーティスト。2007年チェンマイ大学美術学部絵画専攻を卒業、2016年よりシラパコーン大学大学院でタイ芸術を学ぶ。2019年、初個展「MALEE NAREE」（Maleeは花、Nareeは女性を意味する）で、出産を通して表現される女性の愛と温もりを、自然の花を象徴に現代的なタイの美意識で描いた。現在は絵画と彫刻の技法を用い、人間・自然・心の相互関係を仏教哲学の視点から象徴的に表現している。
Malee Naree is a female artist from Chiang Mai. She studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University (2007) and entered the Master's programme in Thai Arts at Silpakorn University in 2016. Her first solo exhibition, "MALEE NAREE" (2019) — Malee meaning flower and Naree meaning woman — conveyed the love and warmth of motherhood through the symbolism of natural flora in a contemporary Thai idiom. Working in painting and sculpture, she creates symbolic works on Buddhist philosophy and the interrelation of humans, nature and mind.
