錠剤やカプセルを包む「PTP包装シート」とイラストレーションを融合させた作品を制作。きらめく薬のシートを身に纏う少女たちの姿から、健常と病理の二面性が立ち現れる。
2001年北海道生まれ、東京拠点。2023年多摩美術大学情報デザイン学科メディア芸術コース卒業。アニメーターとしての活動を経て、画家として制作を続けている。

Dayama Hakusai creates works that fuse illustration with PTP packaging sheets, the plastic-and-aluminium blisters that hold tablets and capsules. In her girls clad in glittering medicine sheets, the duality of health and pathology comes into view.
Born in Hokkaido in 2001 and based in Tokyo. She graduated from the Media Art course of Tama Art University's Department of Information Design in 2023 and, after working as an animator, continues to paint.
