クラシック・カートゥーンを源流とするイラストレーション
幼少期に観たクラシック・カートゥーンのシンプルで洒脱な世界観に衝撃を受け、その感覚を絵を通じて多くの人と分かち合いたいという思いを原動力に制作する。クラシック・カートゥーンをベースにした、クールでポップ、少し毒の効いた画風を得意とする。
1978年大阪生まれ。6年間のデザイナー経験を経て、2007年よりイラストレーターとして独立。アパレル、ゲーム、フィギュアなど多様な分野でキャラクターデザインを手がける。
Struck as a child by the simple, stylish world of classic cartoons, BLACKBOX draws with the desire to share that same feeling with others. His style, rooted in classic cartoons, is cool and pop with a touch of edge.
Born in Osaka in 1978. After six years as a designer he became an independent illustrator in 2007, working on character design across apparel, games and figures.
