ATSUSHI MAEDA "LINES ALIVE — LABYRINTH RHAPSODY"

Atsushi Maeda presented his solo exhibition LINES ALIVE — LABYRINTH RHAPSODY — at GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS in GINZA SIX, Tokyo. Inspired by the concept of a “labyrinthine library,” the exhibition brought together his intricate monochrome linework and a large-scale live drawing created on site.
Over five days, he worked across 14 connected panels, letting the composition evolve through spontaneous lines, ideas and conversations with visitors. The completed work stretched approximately 2.4 meters, turning the drawing process itself into part of the exhibition and continuing his ongoing live drawing project, LINES ALIVE.
