マスダアキラ

西洋絵画から現代アートまでの影響を受け、自身が理想とする天使「えんじぇるちゃん」シリーズを中心に制作。誰もが共有できる「天使」という存在を通して、日常で抱く感情をポーズや表情に託して描く。
1998年兵庫県生まれ。2021年大阪芸術大学美術学科油画専攻卒業。神戸を中心に個展を重ね、Independent Tokyo、UNKNOWN ASIA、心斎橋PARCO Wall Galleryのほか、釜山・バンコク・台北のアートフェアにも参加。

Influenced by Western painting through to contemporary art, Akira Masuda centres his practice on "Enjeru-chan", his vision of the ideal angel. Through a figure everyone recognises, he channels the emotions of daily life into pose and expression.
Born in Hyogo in 1998; graduated in oil painting from Osaka University of Arts in 2021. He has held solo exhibitions mainly in Kobe and shown at Independent Tokyo, UNKNOWN ASIA and Shinsaibashi PARCO Wall Gallery, as well as art fairs in Busan, Bangkok and Taipei.
