Waree

Born and raised in Bangkok, with roots in southern Thailand, Waree has had a strong interest in art for as long as she can remember.
That lifelong passion led her to Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, where she majored in fine arts (painting) and graduated.
Since graduating, she has devoted her practice to expressing the childlike feeling of excitement.
Her works feature “imaginary friends.”
They are characters born from inspiration drawn from familiar, everyday objects.
They are portrayed as mischievous, vivid and wonderfully “fluffy” beings.
