TOKYO WANTARO
Self-taught works on canvas
Born in 1978 in Urayasu, Chiba. While attending a film school (Eiga Bigakko) in the early twenties, the artist first encountered art. Since then, alongside design work for websites, signage and business cards, the artist has been painting — mainly works on canvas — entirely self-taught, with activity centered on exhibitions and private commissions.
