私の作品のテーマは「腐る喜び」だ。「腐る」とは「次の何かへと生まれ変わるための準備」だと私は思っている。私は畑を耕すことで「腐る」を思考し、それにより自分は過去の辛い出来事から精神的な「腐る」も体験していたことを思い出した。そしてその腐りの全てが、次の新しい始まりに重要な役割を担っていたことを強く感じたのだった。私の作品には「ポセミン」という生き物が登場する。それは私が精神的に腐った時、心の支えとして描き始めたものだった。つまりポセミンは、ある種自分の生まれ変わりなのかもしれない。

The theme of my work is "the joy of decay." To me, "decay" represents "the preparation for rebirth into something new." Through cultivating a field, I began to contemplate the idea of "decay," and I was reminded that I had also experienced a form of spiritual "decay" from painful past events. I strongly felt that all of this decay played an essential role in the new beginnings that followed. In my work, there is a creature called "Posemin." It is something I began to draw as a source of emotional support when I was mentally "decaying." In a way, Posemin might be a kind of rebirth of myself.
