Profile

Most of Daiv’s works are rooted in hip-hop-style graffiti, using strongly contrasting colors to create visual impact. He excels at using street-style illustration and animation to stir the emotions of the audience and bring the narrative to its twist. Through the Daiv figures he expresses humanity and emotion, explores the most elusive feelings in the viewer’s inner heart, views the world from a distinctive perspective, and unites the “inner heart” with the phenomena of the real world in an artistic vision. His works are marked by a strong visual effect of magical realism and a sense of comedy; their content typically expresses the deep inner thoughts of the individual and exposes the nature of social phenomena.
