I developed a somewhat cult-like series of black humor themed around urban legends and conspiracy theories, as well as a message art series called The Soul of Asia, which depicts Japanese and Asian cultures and myths from a spiritual perspective, showcasing my work in exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
In 2023, I decided to make a fresh start by launching a series featuring girls as the main motif. While many artists depict girls in an illustrative style, I sought to find a way to express myself uniquely. I felt that simply drawing cute girls was boring, so I resolved to depict the murky emotions—like anger, hatred, sadness, and irony—that surely lie deep within the human heart. I aim to portray these often-negatively perceived emotions in a colorful, pop style, transforming ugly words, expressions, and gestures into something that brings a smile.
A common theme across all my series is words, message, destruction, and love. In particular, the girl series is an embodiment of myself, filled with my intimate feelings and destructive impulses. I hope viewers will not only focus on the artwork itself but also read the meticulously crafted words throughout and feel something from them.
LOVE and PEACE!!

...................................................................................................................

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0615/4413/6883/files/34.chikashinoda_I_mProudFxxxkingHELLJAPAN.png?v=1729223413
