プロフィール

祖父が神主、祖母が住職の家系に生まれる。 幼少期より神道や仏教が身近な環境で育ち、後にアニメーターとなる従兄弟の影響で絵を描き始める。 多摩美術大学絵画学科卒業、フリーランスのイラストレーターとして活動後2024年よりアーティスト活動を開始。 
アニメと江戸絵画に共通点を見出し、日本の伝統的な材料と、エアブラシやアクリル絵の具など現代の技術を融合させ作者が思う『今』における江戸絵画を描いている。 東洋圏で縁起物として用いられる動物をモチーフにし制作をしていく中でも代表作である虎のシリーズは「力」の象徴として様々な厄災に立ち向かう精神を表し、見る人を鼓舞する存在として描いている。

Profile

Born in a family where his grandfather was a Shinto priest and his grandmother a temple priestess. I grew up in an environment close to Shinto and Buddhism. Influenced by my cousin, who later became an animator, I began drawing at an early age. After graduating from Tama Art University with a major in painting, I worked as a freelance illustrator and began my journey as an artist in 2024.

I see commonalities between anime and Edo painting, and I strive to create what I envision as contemporary Edo painting by blending traditional Japanese materials with modern techniques such as airbrush and acrylic paint. My works often feature animals considered auspicious in Eastern cultures. Among them, my tiger series serves as a symbol of "power," depicting the spirit of confronting various calamities and inspiring viewers.
